A Patriotic Muffin Tin Monday!

Today's Muffin Tin Monday theme is Red, White and Blue or Patriotic or The 4th of July! To be completely honest I had no idea until this morning, I thought today was an anything goes day. And of course I have to go grocery shopping this week so things were sort of thrown together!

Top: chocolate chip ice cream with strawberry sauce, vanilla yogurt with red and blue sprinkles, julienned carrot fireworks
Bottom: frozen blueberries, peanut butter and jelly star sandwich, mini marshmallows

I told you I have to go shopping!

We did however have plenty of supplies in the house to make some 4th of July decorations!

On Sunday with a little help from daddy Mad made a contact paper star filled with red, white and blue sequins. A week ago or so we made the pipe cleaner fireworks mobile. Today we made a foam star swag for the front door along with a scrap paper collage star and a patriotic wind sock! I am planning on doing some more lacing tomorrow with some cardstock stars and ribbon.

Great job, I like the carrot fireworks, too. I should have thought of marshmallows, my ds4 loves them! Thanks for the links to the crafts. :)
