Okay not completely wordless because this was just too cute! Last week I found Maddie quietly wrapping a gift for baby sister Zoey in the playroom. After a lecture on NOT bringing scissors upstairs without permission (or stealing them out of the kitchen in the first place) I helped Maddie finish her wrapping. She had snuck into our room to snag the stuffed elephant she picked out for Zoey and wanted to wrap it up for her- complete with Christmas paper, tags and bows!

Wordless(ish) Wednesday

 Our tax return came in last week and of course I spent some (no not ALL) of it on our big baby gear necessities. Umm yes the stroller and pack and play have already been set up. Shh. Don't tell anyone. We certainly couldn't leave Brandon Madison out of the shopping fun before the rest went into savings so hubby ordered a Kinect to go with the XBox. As of 7:30 this morning I am no longer needed as a mom because Maddie has adopted her own leopard cub named Sarah on Kinectimals and has been captivated by her new furry friend. Does this mean I can crawl back in bed? Probably not. What a shame!
