Celebrating

Our 4th of July was rather low key and it was wonderful!

Sunday evening we headed out to a baseball game for military night. Gah! Silly evil pregnancy hormones left me in tears when the Freedom Riders road onto the field in the beginning of the game. The night was crazy hot but I am pretty sure we all enjoyed ourselves. Maddie even had an opportunity to go on the baseball field at the end of the game with her Navy daddy to watch the fireworks.
After being out so late the night before we decided to lay low and relax on the 4th at the house. Hubby the pancake master made some delicious red, white and blue pancakes with fresh strawberries and blueberries. Yum!
Maddie enjoyed a bit of time in her pool and a special lunch with red, white and blue food picks. I love the American flag painting Maddie did!

MY 4th was spent with a delicious strawberry watermelon daiquiri and red, white and blue goldfish crackers. It was FANTASTIC!

Congrats! I missed the whole birth announcement post because I've been so sick I haven't been able to get online. Baby Zoey is just as adorable as Maddie! I turned 29 on the 4th of July, no strawberry daquiri's for me though. I'm still pregnant! In fact I go tomorrow for a second test to see if I have gestational diabetes. I can't wait for August, I'm having a girl too! Lillie Grace :)
