Muffin Tin Monday!

I know I have said it before but my refrigerator really truly is empty, see for yourself:

The only thing worth eating in my fridge is vanilla pudding a shredded cheese! Tomorrow is shopping day but today is Muffin Tin Monday and of course it is a theme day. Oh man. The theme is circus and we have no food but I was able to sort of throw together a semi-nutritious circus themed tin!

So we have....
Top: hot dog on a stick, ketchup, and clown noses (cherry tomatoes!)
Bottom: popcorn, animal crackers and more popcorn

I promise I will be prepared for the next theme day! I even wrote it into my menu and on my shopping list!

Potty Update: It is moving right along! We made it through the weekend with no accidents but then had a pee pee issue this morning on the kitchen floor. We also traveled around yesterday to my mom's and my dad's house and things went great there too. Unfortunately as the pottying progresses the child has turned evil. I thought the twos were bad but the threes are worse. We had three massive temper tantrums this morning and it is taking all my energy to not throw one myself!

I have to agree with you on the three's being worse than the two's. We just finished potty training. She's totally potty trained, but have had a few accidents lately.

Great job! I love the cherry tomatoes for clown noses. Very cute. I'm sorry she's been throwing tantrums lately! That's great that she is doing so wonderfully with the potty training, though.

You did an awesome job!!!

I too am potty training my 2nd child. He's 2yrs & 7 months and I have to say, he's doing GREAT! He's so proud when he uses the potty chair and applauds every time. Of course this is with the pee pee, poop is a different story. Good luck!

I think you did a GREAT tray!! Love the clown noses. :)

And, I definitely do NOT want to hear that three is worse than two! We're having a great day so far (Lol, it's 9:30am and she didn't get up until 8:30, but whatever!) but tantrums have been going on like crazy over here... :-/

Love the clown pick. Yay on the potty training and the three year old is bad on tantrums. Don't let it bother you (I Know better said then done), she will get over it!

You know, B is throwing more tantrums now. She is 3 in October. Of course, she is self weaning from nursing and naps are almost non-existent. Maybe that is the cause. I am so glad to hear the PT is going well. DOn't forget it is a process. There are bound to be accidents. I found if I am prepared for an accident, (you know, extra clothes and underwear) it keeps them away. Yeah Maddie!

Excellent job for such an empty fridge! ;) I'm trying to empty out mine, and my freezer, and my pantry! All to save money on groceries!

My son, Jack, who turned 3 in July too, has been trying to potty train, and you are completely right! For some reason, since he's been potty training, he's had a lot more issues as far as his temper! Maybe it's more stressful than we think! :)
He's been doing pretty good as far as peeing, but pooping is a whole different story. He WILL NOT go on the potty...he'll hold it until he is in a diaper for the night! Hopefully he'll start doing this soon! Good luck!!

P.S. - I'm not far from you, I live in Lisbon, CT!

Great job! I too struggled due to limited fridge supplies, I almost thought I was going to have to pass on this week...but looks like you and I pulled it out :)
