Helping the Earth with Diapers **Giveaway!**

Thanks to my friends at MyBlogSpark I have another great giveaway for you! Diapers! Free diapers! Who doesn't need diapers. Well I guess people without little kids... And The Lorax book!

I have to admit I was shocked that I had not actually read The Lorax, crazy I know. My kids are obsessed though. The Lorax is now our bath time book. You know the book you read while the kids are in the bathtub to help minimize the splashing water that seems to always soak my bathroom. Its funny how bath time is the one point in the day that Maddie and I REALLY talk. The Lorax has brought up some great conversations with her lately about saving and helping the earth. Man she is a cute kid.

Well just in time for the Universal Studios’ motion picture debut of Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax, Seventh Generation is featuring limited edition prints of The Lorax on their diapers and training pants. They are super cute! I had not previously purchased Seventh Generation diapers so I was a bit startled when I took them out of the package and saw a lightly colored brown diaper! That's because they are made with renewable, plant-based materials, crazy! They also do not contain chlorine, fragrance, petroleum-based lotions or latex, and all Free & Clear products are also hypo-allergenic.

With baby number two we went with cloth diapers but I can only be so hippy dippy and cringe at the idea of carrying around a bag full of poop so my diaper bag is stocked with disposables. I have been pleasantly surprised with the reliability of the Seventh Generation diapers, I am always nervous about leaks but all has been well so far!  Seventh Generation will have a permanent home in my diaper bag now!

Have you tried Seventh Generation diapers yet? Do you want to? Of course you do! And now you have a chance to try them for free! One lucky reader will win a package of diapers and a copy of The Lorax!

My earth friendly tips are to use anything reusable that you can: napkins, kitchen towels, water bottles, shopping bags, etc. And to recycle!!!

We use reusable products as often as we can. One thing that has made a tremendous difference is using reusable lunch bags and cloth napkins. I like to make our own cloth napkins in lots of different fun prints for my boys' lunchboxes :)
