I am blessed to have a child that eats pretty much anything. She LOVES fruits and veggies and really there is nothing more a mommy could ask for. Despite Maddie's love of all things healthy (where or where did she come from?) we do have the occasional picky day. Without fail though fruit and yogurt parfaits always prevail.
I always have yogurt and at least frozen berries in the house, with the seasons changing we have had a bit more fresh fruit too. Layers of low fat vanilla yogurt with strawberries, blueberries, bananas and toasted coconut make Madison oh so very happy!
If your little one is a bit picky I highly suggest parfaits. Mix up the yogurt flavors and fruit choices to your liking. Sometimes we top them off with nuts or cheerios for crunch too!
