I have been brainstorming the best way to display Madison's artwork in the playroom and I am pretty pleased with our latest creation!
With some wooden shapes, a scrap board of wood, clothes pins, paint and my handy dandy glue gun we set to work.
Madison painted some wooden shapes - you can get these VERY cheap at the craft store,
while I painted a scrap strip of wood.
After everything dried we used the glue gun to affix clothes pins to the back of the wooden shapes and then to the wood strip. Hubby drilled holes on either end of the strip and voila!
You could also paint the clothes pins but we went for the easier route! I also alternated the clothes pins with some pointing up and others down to leave plenty of room for Madison's artwork.
I am so pleased with the results that we will be making a few more!

turned out great!!!
How cute..I love that she painted the pieces :)
This is the BEST idea that I've seen to display art work! Love it!!!
Adorable! We actually have a long string across each side of the playroom walls (up across the top like a border) that have tons of clothespins threaded through and it works great!
I saw something similar to this the other day on another blog...she had the childs name going across the top with the pins facing up and then artwork hanging below it...SO cute!!
I love her painted shapes! So much more personal!!
That is such a good idea and it turned out awesome!
