I have been planning this craft for a loooong time and I couldn't wait any longer to get started! I was pleasantly surprised to see Madison really enjoyed decorating each of the 8 snowflakes we did.
For each snowflake I used 4 popsicle sticks that I glued together ahead of time to make sure everything was good to go for Mad. The rest of the project was up to Madison. I added lines of glue on the snowflakes and then she picked what she thought were the best buttons for each one!
**Initially I was planning on painting the popsicle sticks a light blue and only using white buttons but I didn't think that would go over too well with Madison but I do think they would look beautiful!**

just lovely...
I love how they turned out.
those are cute! Where does one find so many buttons without having to buy individual packs??
Adorable! I just love things made with buttons!
I have wanted to make these for a while too. I love button crafts.
Man, I'm totally stealing this idea and making the baby watch as I create them this weekend. I'm curious too though -- where do you get such a variety? Do you just buy a bunch of different colored packs, or are they variety packs? Awesome idea. : )
So happy!! I love the colors, I'm a sucker for buttons and popsicle sticks, add some glitter or felt and I'm in craft heaven! : )
I know a cute 2.5 year old who would like making some of these!
So cute! This is one we will definitely do next month when we do our winter theme. I have too many christmas crafts to do this month that I'm doing all the winter stuff next month.
Very cute! I am saving snowflakes and snowmen crafts for January - after all, winter is just starting. We will definitely put this one on the list.
Very cute - now I have to go through my button stash to see what I have.
Ooooh I love it! I am such a fan of buttons I just think they look so amazing on just about anything! Maddie did a great job :0)
I can't wait to try this! Great idea!
