♥ I am so incredibly proud of my husband ♥
If you or your spouse is in the military you understand how difficult it can be to find time for school work and that getting a college degree can take FOREVER! My husband started his first (yes FIRST) shore duty at his 10 year mark in the Navy and finally found the time to start and finish his associates. Of course the smarty-pants that he is graduated with a near perfect GPA of 3.97. I know you can scowl I do! haha To top it all off he also completed and aced his CompTIA Security+ exam yesterday. Truthfully I have no idea what that is, I know it has to do with computer security but that's about it. BUT he was really nervous and super excited when he passed! So in celebration of daddy's accomplishments Maddie and I whipped up a super secret super special cake! Maddie asked to make a strawberry cake, so we have french vanilla cake with strawberry filling and well.....you can see the rest........

What a great job she did decorating that super special cake!!!
congrats that is wonderful accomplishments! way to go he will love his surprise!
How awesome! And that cake is just beautiful. :) My husband (Navy, too) just started some classes to get an AA degree so I know how hard it is for them to find the time to do anything sometimes!
My husband is the same way. We were in school at the same time and I studied all of the time and I never saw him touch a book and he got better grades than me. That is such a cute cake! I might have to try that sometime with my daughter she would love to go crazy with the frosting. :)
That's GREAT!! Big congratulations to him. And, as a girl who doesn't like cake but LOVES frosting, that cake is to die for! Ha!! Yum, yum!!!
By the way, I left an award for you over on my blog. I just love reading your blog and wanted you to know! :)
