We were blessed with 9 inches of snow yesterday and Maddie has been begging me to go outside and play! Unfortunately with all the fluffy white snow came very cold temperatures! eek! I did cave though and we managed to last about 30 minutes or so in the backyard this morning.
For a little fun added bonus I filled two spray bottles with colored water; red and yellow, so we could spray the snow.
Maddie and I have talked about how mixing red and yellow make our color of the week ORANGE. We practiced mixing colors in ranch dip, with paint and today with colored snow.
Maddie had a blast squirting the colors all over the backyard, although all the yellow does look a little unsightly!
Milo was curious about all the colored snow too!
