Cute Creepy Crawly Caterpillars

Here was our weekend project that daddy got to join in on. I saw the cutest caterpillars in my latest issue of Parents magazine and just had to make them!

Here are the directions from Parents Magazine:

Love Bug

You will need:

Popsicle sticks
Paper
Glue
Any other embellishments you like

Create A Caterpillar:

>Fold a 3 1/2 x 20in. piece of paper into a 2in. accordion. Round off the top edge with scissors and unfold.

>On the back, glue a popsicle stick to the left of each fold.

>Cut and glue shapes for the bug's body and face. Glue two sticks as antennae; round front corner of face.

Maddie got to use her dotters again so all was well!


While I cut out all the circles Maddie practiced using her scissors.



Daddy and and Maddie took care of the eyes and gluing while I made the antennae.
