This is where I can usually find a hair clip for Maddie. Not particularly organized or pretty for that matter. AND hey isn't that my favorite pitcher for Crystal Light?!
The pitcher full of chaos was driving me nuts and I decided it was time to figure something else out. I raided my ribbon stash and found a small ball of yellow yarn that would surely do the trick.
This is such a quick an easy fix for the hair bow chaos that I wish I had done it sooner, although if I did Maddie wouldn't be calling it the Rapunzel braid so I suppose it was worth the wait.
I measured and cut the yarn to double the length I wanted. Measure, cut, measure, cut, measure, cut. It really didn't take all that long though.
Next up I loosely braided the yarn over a door knob. If you are braiding where ever you are going to keep the braid feel free the braid a little tighter but I was moving it so I had to be able to get it off the door knob!
I used a small piece of yarn to tightly knot the end of the braid and then topped it off with a small pink ribbon bow. Perfect!
Maddie was over joyed to find the Rapunzel braid in her bathroom and loves that she can now SEE all of her hair clips!

That is fabulous! I'll be making one today and maybe the morning search for hair clips can be eliminated!
I needed this idea a few years back when my daughter was young.
This is a wonderful, adorable idea!
What a fun idea! Love it! Kerri
Such, such, such a GREAT idea!
adorable and so practical! love it :)
SUPER CUTE!!!
I love this idea, it will be perfect for my little girl's room as she is completely captivated by Rapunzel at the moment (and our clips are always strewn all around the house!)
