I stumbled upon only the best idea ever at Polish The Stars this weekend and immediately had to copy it!
A few months ago I whipped a dry erase menu board but it didn't even dawn on me to do the same for a chore chart!
This project cost me a grand total of $0. Yup. I had everything on hand. On top of the no cost it took very little time.
The most time consuming part was spray painting the frame that was originally black.
As soon as dear hubby hung it up Maddie was ready to check off the chores she had already completed. I am hoping the new chart helps reduce the tantrums involved with Maddie's every day chores!
Don't you wish you thought of this sooner?! Me too!

oo thats brilliant!!
Thank you so much for linking back to me! It looks great! I love the colors that you chose. :)
What a pretty chore chart!
I love this idea! My son doesn't have any "chores," but I think he would actually enjoy some if he got to use a dry erase marker every day to check them off... definitely going to ponder this idea. :)
You're so crafty!! I haven't given my 4 year old any chores yet, but I've been feeling that it's time to. This will be a great way to introduce the idea to her. Thanks again for another magical idea!!!
love this..better than my flimsy laminated version but where did you get the clipart??? i can never find good 'chores' pictures!? help!
For real! I have a menu one too, but I've never thought of a chore chart. Brilliant! :)
