Carmex Skin Care

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Carmex®. All opinions are 100% mine.

Okay lets be honest skin care products aren't really what this blog is about BUT when I received the opportunity to review the new line of Carmex Skin Care I hesitated. Sure this blog has nothing to do with skin care but frankly I have dry skin and I have a husband that has horribly dry hands when he is doing any woodworking or when the weather gets cooler so here we are.

I have to say usually I am less than impressed with any new lotions or creams that I try but I was pleasantly surprised with the new line of Carmex® Healing Lotion and Carmex® Healing Cream

Both the lotion and cream have a slight minty vanilla scent which was rather unexpected- I figured it would be rather medicinal. Neither of them leave a greasy feel either which is fantastic.

I have been using the Carmex Healing Cream more frequently than the lotion which is great for extremely dry or cracked skin. I may sorta kinda be a lover of flip flops and would wear them every day if I could but my love leads to dry heals but the Carmex has definitely been helping.

Dear hubby has been using the Healing Lotion on his hands and according to him "It works". Ahh a man of many words. Most lotions tends to have a watery feel to them which Carmex does not. The lotion seems to be just slightly thinner in texture compared to the cream.

Both Carmex® Healing Lotion and Carmex® Healing Cream can be found exclusively at your local Walgreens, Walgreens.com and drugstore.com. Each product retails for $5.99

Discloser: I was provided free products of both Carmex Healing Lotion and Carmex Healing Cream for this review. This review is 100% my personal views on the products.

I had no idea they even had a skin care line until recently. I've gotten several of their pots of lip balm though.
