It has been awhile since I posted a stART project but with my new blogging schedule I hope to a little more often!
Last week Madison and I read Runaway Mittens by Jean Rogers. Madison adored this story and asked to read it over and over again. Of course a story that got so much attention deserved it's own craft project too!
We went super simple and easy for this activity. I printed out mittens on a piece of cardstock and Maddie went wild with her crayons. We finished up with the hole punch and bit of yarn.
A perfect decoration for the Winter window we have going on!

Simple, but so cute! Great job!
very cute & very cute blog!
I have never read this book- your daughter's recommendation is making me run to the library and check it out (after I put on my mittens, of course...)!
cute idea!
Simple works! Thanks for the link to the mittens.
This sounds like a cute book, and the finished project is great. My daughter would have never colored for so long. LOL.
Perfect! Maddie loves anything to do with mittens, so this would be a hit for sure.
How's preschool going?! Give us an update!! Is she having fun? Bringing home lots of crafts and projects? I want to hear! :)

Great project. I'm going to look for that book; we haven't read it.
I love to hear about books that are new to us - we'll have to look for this one! :)
We have a problem controlling the runaway mittens in our home. They are always getting lost.
Emily loves mittens this book and craft looks like something she would love!
Thank you for linking up :0)
