Paper Plate Turtle

Maddie thought it would be a good idea to make a turtle for T day too and who am I to say no? There really was no planning for this last minute project so we just used what I had on hand.

Materials: green paint, green cardstock, small paper plate, green and blue paint dotters, glue and googly eyes

Funny enough Maddie wanted to paint clean today and opted to use a brush instead of her fingers. No complaints from me! Maddie took care of painting the turtle shell while I drew out some legs a tail and the head on the green cardstock.

Maddie used her paint dotters on the turtle parts...and maybe over did it just a little bit. yikes!


Time for the googly eyes!


And here is the turtle named 'Hoppa', I have no idea where that came from!
