Oh my! We had a super busy yet super fun weekend! Maddie's Nanny and Poppy (my mom and stepfather) came to town for a long weekend and we sure to keep them super busy.
Friday we headed to Busch Gardens Williamsburg and had a blast. The last time we brought Maddie she was only 10 months old and of course couldn't really enjoy anything but this time around she was a kid in a candy store. Our trip also coincided with Howl-O-Scream, and the entire park was decorated for Halloween and featured Halloween themed shows.
The Sesame Street Forest of Fun was a new addition to Busch Gardens from our last trip and it was PERFECT for Maddie. She loved all of the rides and danced along to the Halloween themed Sesame Street show: The Count's Halloween Spooktacular.
Maddie loved her first roller coast ride so much she went on twice, once with Poppy and then again with daddy.
Despite the lack of cooperative weather we had a wonderful time and my darling husband even convinced me to ride the Griffon roller coaster- my first roller coaster in about 5 years!
