We are back to working on the alphabet after a long week of Hearts! Today is R day at our house. Maddie has already asked for raisins this morning, so of course they will be served at snack time. Maddie has been really into her train tracks and anything with wheels so we decided Road would be perfect for R day.
Materials: black, red, yellow and green cardstock, 3 popsicle sticks, glue, and car stickers.
I cut out the R and made the road signs yesterday.
Maddie had a fun following the glue trail with the yellow lines.
This was a relatively mess free activity, which I am OK with!
Of course after talking about the road signs Maddie needed to play our 'Stop! Go! Slow!' game. Maddie likes to take control and yell out the directions but unfortunately her puppy doesn't quite understand yet!
