Leaves, leaves and more leaves

It may still be August, and it may still be 90 degrees outside but it is Fall in my backyard. I spent every day this week clearing my backyard of fallen leaves only to find an hour later it was full again. Oh well. Our bounty of leaves did bring a great idea though! Back in March Maddie made a cherry blossom project that is still hanging up in our kitchen and I thought it was due time to make a new tree. This time we went for some Fall colors and Mad did an awesome job!

We used brown, orange, red, yellow and a few bits of dark pink for the leaves this time.

"Glue, YEAH!"

Very cute...this project will go really well with a book that I just took out of the library.

Funny how something so simple, like glue, makes a child so happy. B loves to do glue, if it is glitter glue, so much better. Great idea, great post.
